林立喬先生於2008年畢業於香港教育學院，獲音樂教育（小學）榮譽學士學位，早年考獲倫敦聖三一音樂學院小提琴LTCL高級演奏文憑、ATCL中提琴演奏文憑、英國皇家音樂學院八級鋼琴及樂理證書。林氏自幼接受正統音樂訓練，曾隨姚愛蓮、李倩華和黃羨惠女士習鋼琴。並先後隨區品聖先生、包曉燕女士、黃衛明先生研習小提琴及中提琴，現隨香港管弦樂團第二小提琴,小提琴家冒異國先生繼續深造.林氏持續進修,在凌卓妍及陳貞穎小姐指導下,於2025年再以優良成績考上英國皇家音樂學院八級大提琴證書。
林氏自小加入屯門兒童合唱團管弦樂隊接受樂隊訓練，曾多次隨團遠赴中國大陸和台灣演出。就讀大學期間，林氏活躍於多隊校內和校外管弦樂隊、室樂團和合唱團，計有赤子室樂團,寰宇交響樂團,灣區愛樂香港樂團,香港愛樂團、藝韻青年管弦樂團及音樂事務處香港青年音樂營交響樂團等等,並曾為香港教育學院DEI-樂團第二小提琴聲部首席。林氏於校際音樂節屢獲佳績，2008年更獲屯門區中西器樂比賽西樂(非鋼琴)公開組冠軍。林氏亦曾為屯門兒童合唱團管弦樂隊弦樂導師，現任多間中小學小提琴班導師。教學方面，林氏著重在課堂中加設遊戲，透過互動溝通剌激學生思考和感受音樂，從而提昇學生對演奏小提琴之興趣和音樂之理解力。

Lam Lap Kiu obtained a bachelor degree of education(Honours)(primary) from the Hong Kong Institute of Education(HKIED) in 2008, majoring in Music, and was registered as a qualified teacher of the Hong Kong Education Bureau in 2009. He obtained the Licentiate Diploma in Recital in violin(L.T.C.L),and Associated diploma in Recital in viola(A.T.C.L)from the Trinity College of London, grade 8 certificate of Piano, Music theory and cello from the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music.

Mr Lam has been studying violin since the age of seven, with Mr Au Pun Shing, the founder of Tuen Mun Children Choir(TMCC) Orchestra, and taking Piano lesson with Ms Yiu Oi Lin , Lee Sin Wah and Wong Sin Wai. He then joined the TMCC orchestra to get basic orchestral training, and continued his violin studies with Ms Pau Hiu Yin and Mr Wong Wai Ming. He is now further his studies with Mr Mao Yi Guo, tutti violinist from the Hong Kong Philharmonic orchestra,and enhance cello studying with the help of Ms Chloe Ling and Zhen ying Chen.

During the years of studies, Mr Lam was an active member of different orchestras, including the SAR Philharmonic orchestra, the Grandmaster youth orchestra , the City university Philharmonic orchestra and Hong Kong Youth Music Camp Orchestra in 2005.He was also the former principal of the 2nd violin in the DEI-String of the HKIED. With the chances given by the orchestras, Mr Lam had performed many times in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mainland China.

As an soloists, Mr Lam got the certificate of proficiency in the Hong Kong Music Festival in 1996 and 1997. He was also the champion of the Tuen Mun Chinese and Western Music instrumental competition(non piano class) in 2008.He is now a violin and viola teacher in several primary and secondary schools.

Being a teacher, Mr Lam believes in the motto: ‘Learn from Games’. He enlightens his students to learn violin playing and musical concepts from different designed games so as to stimulate their thinking and understanding.
